Planted like a signpost at the edge of ruined highlands, this spearman grips his weapon vertically, butt to the ground, left fist clenched at his side. The leaf-bladed spearhead sits above a wrapped shaft, and his kit reads pure working soldier: hooded gorget, cross-strapped leather cuirass, a single pauldron, belt pouches, and a tunic hem torn from the road. Use him as a picket the party must talk past before reaching the mercenary camp — one failed Persuasion check and a Guard statblock earns its keep, with Thug stats if the conversation sours. The spear shaft is the print consideration: it is thin but runs base-to-blade in one straight line, so print him upright with the shaft vertical and it becomes self-reinforcing; resin gives the cleanest spearhead edge.
